At AlexChem, we coordinate and execute the physical delivery of all industrial, laboratory, and fragrance chemical compounds to ensure they reach your facilities in pristine purity and absolute security, employing a specialized fleet and certified logistics partners.

2. Transit Timelines & Processing

Orders are dispatched from our central distribution warehouses immediately upon order verification. Standard transit times are outlined below:

Alexandria Governorate

1 to 2 business days (1-2 days)

Greater Cairo & Giza

2 to 3 business days (2-3 days)

Other Egyptian Governorates

3 to 5 business days (3-5 days)

International (MENA Region)

7 to 14 business days, subject to customs inspection

3. Safety & Packaging Standards

AlexChem strictly complies with national chemical distribution laws in Egypt and international hazardous materials transportation frameworks (UN / ADR):

Leak-Proof Containment: Liquid chemicals and powders are stored in certified chemical-grade heavy plastic or metal drums, canister vessels, or specialized containers.
Proper Labeling: Clear application of item classification sheets, compound naming, batch numbers, and standard hazard symbols on external layers.
Climate & Hazard Control: Highly reactive or temperature-sensitive compounds are carried in isolated, ventilated, and fire-secured logistics vehicles.
Mandatory Documentation: Every package leaves our distribution facility legally accompanied by its physical Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS).

4. Receiving & Site Requirements

To secure the safety of your personnel and our dispatch operators, we require clients to abide by these guidelines upon package arrival:

Secure Unloading Zone: The customer facility must provide a cleared, flat, and appropriately ventilated space for unloading bulk chemical containers.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Unloading crew members must wear proper industrial hazard protection (protective goggles, chemical-resistant gloves, and steel-toe boots).
Seal Inspections: Verify container seals are intact before unloading. In the rare event of a compromised seal or transit leakage, immediately document the issue with our driver.

5. Delivery Fees & Rates

Shipping and freight rates are calculated dynamically at checkout. Fees correspond directly to total weight, geographic transit distance from our Alexandria warehousing center to your delivery address, and the specific chemical safety classification (e.g., hazardous cargo handles specialized transit fees).

Regulatory Notice & Responsibility

Certain specialized chemical compounds and lab materials listed in our store are heavily monitored by governmental regulations. AlexChem assumes zero legal liability for a customer’s lack of valid handling authorization. We reserve the legal right to suspend shipment and cancel transactions if a purchasing facility fails to present proper chemical registry permits.
